Adult entertainers and the studios that employ them have seen a huge increase in sales of Sheen related material since Sheen has embarked on a one-man mission to rant against his former employers at CBS and Warner Bros. From porn stars to actresses to ‘goddesses,’ Charlie Sheen has dated a wide range of ladies over the years.

“Since Sheen’s meltdown started a couple of weeks ago, there’s already been about five or six Sheen-related titles released,” says Javors. “The number of adult titles has gone down in recent years, but something like this that has really captured mainstream media’s attention—everyone’s talking about it—is a phenomenon. The industry likes to capitalize on people’s notoriety, and they’re doing that with Charlie Sheen.”

Almost every adult entertainment company is rushing to produce Sheen-based DVDs. “A lot of studios are putting out compilations of previously shot footage that they have of the girls,” explains Javors. “The big thing now is parodies of mainstream TV shows and movies. There is an original parody that is coming out from Exquisite Multimedia called ‘Charlie Shein’s Vegas Porn Star Party,’ and there’s also a lot of comp releases—DVDs using previously shot footage of girls who are rumored to have been with Charlie Sheen.

Smash Pictures is coming out with ‘Charlie’s Party Girls’ starring Bree Olson and Kacey Jordan—two of the more high profile names. It also features Melanie Rios, Gigi Rivera and Ginger Lynn.” Capri Anderson, who was a relative unknown in the porn world, shot to porn stardom because of her association with Sheen.

“She’s now a contract girl for Vivid,” Anderson’s manager, Gina Rodriguez of DD Management Group tells FOX 411. “A contract girl will only shoot for one company, she won’t shoot for anyone else. Most actresses in the adult industry are free agents—they’ll shoot for anyone. Being a contract girl is kind of a big deal.

Most contract girls make $60,000 a year, which isn’t very much—but Capri’s contract is more than double that. In one year, a contract girl will shoot four movies, and each movie takes about two or three weeks to shoot. Capri is also doing appearances, and that can be pretty lucrative. She charges $3,500 for an appearance, and no nudity is involved. She just shows up at a club and hosts. She’s booked almost every weekend through June right now.

Before the incident with Charlie Sheen, Capri was completely out of the business. So this definitely changed her life—for the better. She’s even been approached by mainstream producers to do a reality show.” One of Charlie Sheen’s “goddesses,” Bree Olson, has also been pitched to join the ranks of mainstream reality TV stars, “Somebody from VH1 called with interest of Bree appearing in a reality show,” Foxxx Modeling agent Chris Canetold FOX411. “Associating with Sheen has definitely heightened Bree’s cross-over appeal—she has interest not only from the adult industry, but the mainstream industry as well.”

Sales numbers for XXX rated DVDs are hard to come by, as almost all production companies are privately owned, but at least one adult video director is reaping the benefits of having Olson star in his film. “This is the perfect storm for us—we couldn’t have planned this any better,” Will Ryder tells FOX411 of his best-selling title, “Not Bionic Woman and the Six Million Dollar Man XXX.” “There’s no way that I could have ever predicted that Charlie would have this huge, public meltdown and the stars of my movies would be so public on national television. It’s unbelievable, it’s unprecedented and I’m loving every second of it.”

“Charlie has given the adult industry a shot in the arm, there’s no doubt,” adds Ryder. ““We’ve only been out for one week with [our latest Sheen-related video] and we’ve already moved 10,000 units. For one week of sales, that’s a lot of units to sell in porn. For most titles, a company will sell 1000 units at best.”

Adult entertainment giant Vivid is even looking to have Charlie Sheen direct one of their movies. On March 3rd, Vivid cofounder Steven Hirsch sent Sheen a letter saying, “The fact that you are the ultimate connoisseur of adult films would definitely work to your advantage.”

So far, there’s been no response from Sheen. “We haven’t heard back from him—yet!” says hopeful Vivid spokesperson Jackie Martin. In the meantime, Ryder is just grateful that Charlie Sheen is staying in the headlines, “Keep selling my movies, buddy. I love it!”

Advances in technology are usually accompanied by advances in pornography, and Microsoft’s Kinect is no exception.

“It was only a matter of time before someone hacked Microsoft’s new motion-sensing video system Kinect for porn purposes,” wroteblogger Peter Nowak, who penned the book “Sex, Bombs and Burgers,” which argues that porn, fast food and war are responsible for society’s greatest advancements in technology.

Adult gaming company ThriXXX has developed a sex game for the motion-sensor gaming system, so users can grope virtual ladies, just in time for the holidays.

Of course, the game isn’t an official Kinect game — Microsoft tends to stick to more family-friendly titles — but ThriXXX hopes to make use of open-source drivers designed by third-party software companies that allow users to connect to Kinect directly via their computers.

“The Kinect interface provides another exciting interface option for users of the sex simulation software to control the experience in extraordinary new ways. Controller-free is the next generation of game user interfaces, allowing users to use gestures, spoken commands, or objects to control in-game action that creates a completely new sex game activity and magical experience,” ThriXXX said in a statement.

The company has released a demo of the game, and posted a video demonstration on YouTube, though it’s since been removed for inappropriate content.

Kyle Machulis, an expert on sex and video games, said last month that a sex game for the console was inevitable, and predicted one would be available by Christmas.

“People interested in dildo tech are usually also at least semi-interested in real tech, and this has been all the f— over the real-tech news lately. Not only that, there’s an open-source, cross platform driver set available so you can do whatever your perverted little heart wants with this poor piece of future,” he wrote on his blog.

About 3 years ago I was sitting on the toilet. I had started my menstrual cycle and as I was wiping, my 3 year old daughter came barreling into the bathroom.

Well,the phone rang a few moments later, so I got up and ran to the phone and much to my surprise it was the city police. They said that they got a 911 call from there and couldn’t understand what the caller was saying.

They asked if I had a a little kid there and if everything was ok. I said, “yes, I have a kid but there wasn’t any problem.”

The officer scolded me and said I should teach my daughter only to use 911 for emergency purposes. At that point it dawned on me why she had called but I couldnt tell the officer.

I was too embarrassed to tell him that she thought my period was a sign of me bleeding to death. The kid thought I was sitting on the toilet, dying! Thank God I didn’t have to explain to him what had happened!

What might seem like too much sex to one person may seem like too little to another: (Remember that scene in Annie Hall, in which Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are discussing their sex life, split-screen, with their respective therapists? Asks Woody’s therapist, “How often do you sleep together?”  To which he responds: “Hardly ever. Maybe three times a week.” Meanwhile, Diane Keaton’s therapist is asking her the very same question, and she replies, “Constantly. I’d say three times a week.”)

Every couple have to find their own middle ground. As my colleague and fellow contributor to Good in Bed, Dr. Gail Saltz, says: “If your sex drives are out of balance, your aim is to meet in the middle, having sex a bit more than one partner likes but probably a bit less than the other likes.”

So while there may be no one right answer to the question of how often couples should have sex, lately I’ve somewhat been less equivocal and advising couples to try to do it at least once a week. That’s because I believe that sex ruts are becoming epidemic. Not long ago CNN reported that 40 million Americans are stuck in sexless marriages, and in my own practice I’ve seen an increase in sex ruts and low-desire relationships due to a number of factors:

• The stress of the recession and the toll it’s taking on relationships
• Couples are too busy and too tired for sex
• The side effects of many medications which inhibit desire (especially anti-depressants in the SSRI family)
• The easy access to Internet porn
• The rise in obesity and other health/lifestyle issues that dampen libido

Sex seems to be rapidly falling to the bottom of America’s to-do list but, in my experience, when couples stop having sex their relationships become vulnerable: to anger, detachment, infidelity and, ultimately, divorce. I believe that sex matters: It’s the glue that keeps us together and, without it, couples become “good friends” at best or “bickering roommates” at worst.

Beyond the fact that sex is fun and free and enables couples to stay tuned in and turned on, what are some other reasons to do it this week?

• Sex rejuvenates you, relieves stress, boosts immunity, releases feel-good chemicals called endorphins, and—in men—improves prostate health.
• A healthy sex life may even make you a superstar at the office: Recent research by biological anthropologist Helen Fisher, Ph.D,. suggests that people who enjoy regular sex may be more successful at work, possibly because sex can increase confidence and increase self-esteem.

So go ahead and break that rut! Sex is a little like exercise. Once we stop doing it, it’s easy to get stuck in a slump, but once we get back on track, we remember how much we missed it. The old adage “use it or lose it” has some truth. So does my suggestion, “try it, you’ll like it.” It’s easy to forget how much fun sex can be, and just having sex once a week will put you back in a regular groove.

And if you’re stuck in a sex rut, think about the following:

1.      Exercise and eat right. Your sexual health is connected to your overall health, and it’s no surprise that people who have sex more frequently are also healthier overall. If you’re too tired for sex, it probably means you’re too tired in other areas as well, and that you’re not taking care of yourself as much as you should be.

2.      Minimize stress. Not only does stress release cortisol, which inhibits testosterone, but studies have also shown that for a woman to want to have sex (and to enjoy it) parts of the female brain associated with outside stressors need to deactivate. So figure out what’s stressing you out and put together a plan with your partner to deal with it.

3.      Turn off (your computers), so you have some time to tune in to your partner and turn on. When you look at all of the precious time that gets sucked up by Facebook, surfing the Web, and email, no wonder you’re plopping into bed exhausted and spent.

4.      Give your partner a hug. Non-sexual physical intimacy builds a foundation for sexual desire. Studies show that a 20-second hug raises oxytocin levels. Oxytocin is also known as the “cuddle hormone” and facilitates a sense of love and connection, especially in women. Most couples don’t take the time to hug at all, much less for 20 seconds.

In the end, remember, if you want to have a satisfying sex life, you have to have the sort of relationship that supports your sex life. Studies show that the difference between those relationships that succeed and those that fail is the ability to have a high ratio of positive to negative interactions. It’s actually believed that the ratio should be 5 to 1 — five positive interactions for every negative one. Of course, you can’t go through life tallying every interaction, but you can know whether you’re fundamentally in positive or negative territory and start swinging the pendulum back to where it belongs.
